Double I Bio - DOUBLE I - Associate Producer

Born and Raised in Nigeria, West Africa Double I moved to the United States eleven years ago to pursue a higher education. "Ever since high school", he says, "I knew I wanted to be in radio, just not sure of where in radio." After receiving a B.A. in Radio & Television from Texas Southern University, Double I began his career at a college radio station as an on-air talent working several jazz shifts, producing different commercials, and hosting "The Overnite Gospel Show." He also worked at C.B.S radio as a Sports Producer producing Houston Rockets, Texans, Comets games, and Sports talk shows.

Over the years, Double I also had the privilege of working in Los Angeles with Tavis Smiley Inc/Tavis Smiley Group as a production assistant where he produced interviewed segments for the "Tavis Smiley Show" from PRI. In his free time he enjoys photography, working out, and serving in the Media Department of his home church, Lakewood Church; Pastor Joel & Victoria Osteen.

He started working with the Yolanda Adams Morning Show right from the start on Valentine's Day of February 2007 and says, "It was my honor and a dream come true to be working with a legend in Gospel and in Radio. He feels he has the best of both worlds and is living his destiny."

Double I is the Associate Producer for the Yolanda Adams Morning Show with Brother Larry Jones where we're based on faith, family, friends and fun 24/7. He says, "It's the best job I could ever ask for, why, because I get to work with two legends and grow spiritually!"
